You fed everyone. What did you eat?

Feeding a house is not the same as feeding yourself. The leftover, standing up, later than you meant, is allowed to count as a diet. A pouch is not a meal.

Standing up: the leftover at the sink is allowed to count as a diet

She packed the lunch. She won or lost the morning argument about food. She ate the end of the pasta, standing, because sitting down would have started another conversation.

That is an adult diet. It is allowed to count as one.

The short answer

  • Feeding a house is not the same as feeding yourself. The leftover at the sink is the week, not a failure of character.
  • Forty is not a formula, and a busy calendar is not one either. What actually moves is winter light, and whether dinner has shrunk to whatever is in the pan.
  • Pocket Adults is the same idea as Kids and Teens, at higher amounts of the same nutrients. It is not a meal.
  • We still have no iron and no omega-3. If those are the jobs, look elsewhere rather than asking a scoop to be lunch.
  • If the week is genuinely varied and you sit down to it, keep your money.

The plate that is left

A lot of the copy in this category talks to a parent about a child, and then forgets the person holding the pan.

If you want the children's version, the cooking article is next to this one: If you cook, do you still need a multinutrient?. This page is hers.

Write your own week, not only theirs. Name what you ate standing up. Eggs at 4pm. The banana in the bag. The end of their pasta. That is intake. It counts. Writing it down for a week is less dramatic than it sounds, and more useful than a product page.

What actually moves, and what does not

A birthday does not arrive with its own formula. We already said that about 40: A multinutrient after 40. A full calendar does not either.

Vitamin D still sits with latitude and season, not with how organised the morning was. EFSA's 15 µg a day from age 1 assumes little sun. The NHS winter advice is for adults as much as it is for children, in the UK. You can cook every night and still be in October in Cork. You can also be in a Portuguese August at a desk. SNS 24 does not copy a northern leaflet onto July in Faro. The summer page is here.

Dinner that has shrunk. Not a diet. The thing that is left in the pan. That is intake. It counts.

Iron and omega-3. People reach for a "women's" multinutrient hoping those two are in it. Ours includes neither. That is the sentence we would rather put here than a softer one. Iron belongs with a GP and a result. Omega-3 is a different shop. What a food supplement even is, and why two bottles often duplicate, is here.

Sleep is often worse than it was. That is true in a lot of houses, and a powder is not a bedtime product. It isn't. There is no authorised sleep claim on the nutrients we sell. The tiredness page is here.

What we would rather not be paid for

We sell an Adults pouch. Of course we would like it to be on that counter.

It still sits beside food. It does not replace the leftover, and it does not make a standing dinner into a table dinner. Using it as permission to skip the week is the mistake. Using it because the week is already that week is a smaller, more honest job.

If the week is genuinely varied and you sit down to it, keep your money. We mean that. That sentence almost never appears in the aisle.

Where My Daily Pocket fits

Formula Vitamin D3 Magnesium Vitamin C B12 Iron
Pocket Kids 25 µg 100 mg 80 mg 25 µg None
Pocket Teens 35 µg 150 mg 100 mg 100 µg None
Pocket Adults 35 µg 200 mg 150 mg 100 µg None

Kids and Teens are not the adult leftover. Adults is still not a meal, not iron, not omega-3, and not a night's sleep. Pregnancy needs prenatal care, not this pouch.

Vitamin C, B12 and magnesium contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, in that authorised wording. That is not a promise that the standing dinner will feel different. It is not lunch.

What we actually do

The same list as the cooking article, pointed at the person who cooked.

  1. Write your own week, not only theirs.
  2. Name what you ate standing up.
  3. Ask about vitamin D as its own question.
  4. Count the other lids before you add ours.
  5. If something looks genuinely off, that is a GP appointment. Bring the week.

We come in at the end of that list.

FAQ

I fed everyone. Do I need a multinutrient?

Not because you cooked. Look at what you ate. If you sat down to a varied week, keep your money.

Does Pocket Adults contain iron?

No. None of the three formulas. If iron is the job, that is a GP.

Is this a women's formula for after 40?

No. It is the adult version of the same daily powder. Forty is not a SKU.

Will a scoop replace the leftover?

No. It sits beside it. It is not a meal.

What about vitamin D if I never go outside?

That is a light question, not a leftover question. EFSA's figure is 15 µg a day from age 1 for little sun. Adults carries 35 µg. Add any other D in the house.
